FOR ALL TIME FUNDRAISER ///

A SOCIAL JUSTICE INIATIVE

As friends there are many different things we can disagree on but racism should never be one of them. Growing up skateboarding it seemed spray painting on random surfaces, punk rock & hip hop shows, and general harassment from the police were regular occurrences. These experiences taught us that it takes all types. Simply put, we all bleed the same color at the end of the day. The recent weeks have proven to be emotional and reflective, giving us a taste of what hasn’t changed and what needs to change moving forward. The people continue to speak, to shout, and to cry for justice and accountability from a system that has long been broken.

As a brand / collective we’ve been listening, reading, and considering which lane in this fight was best suited for our truth and ethos. A tee shirt, though effective, seemed too easy and similar to what others have done. What makes innocnts its own thing are the connections and folks we surround ourselves with. That’s who we are at our core and that’s who has rallied behind us to help with this fundraiser. With the support of some rad people we have a great two-part fundraiser benefiting some specific causes that are close to our hearts and the movement at large.

NATIONAL POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT (NATIONAL) // RAFFLE #2

NPAP is a 501 (c)(3) organization and a project of the national lawyers guild, which was founded in 1937 as the first racially integrated national bar association. In 1999, NPAP was created as a non-profit to protect the human and civil rights of individuals in their encounters with law enforcement and detention facility personnel. The central mission of NPAP is to promote the accountability of law enforcement officers and their employers for violations of the constitution and the laws of the united states. With over 500 members and growing, we continue to affect change in the flawed legal system and fight to put an end to police brutality of all forms.
