Zamora's detailed works focus on various urban surroundings, interests,
and his reflections of these worlds colliding. Please join us this
Thursday in Silver Lake for some good vibes, great art, and free beer!
Photographer and multimedia artist Michael Donovan enjoys a burgeoning career born of necessity, and raised in the streets of New York. His impressive portfolio holds a hearty mix of sex, street, and symbology; straddling the fine line between fashion and fine art, this one-time stand-up comedian draws on his colorful past for inspiration. The GG Allin of hip hop
is coming to the Innocnts Gallery for a special evening of art and
music. Having survived heroin addiction, failed relationships, and the
uncompromising rap scene, Cadalack Ron has a few things to say. Some of
it ain't pretty. Sometimes honesty is a bitch. Truthful expression is
critical. Authenticity is invaluable.
Innocnts Gallery is
proud to host an evening of Cadalack Ron art ranging from small canvas'
to Denny's napkins along with a special stripped down performance by
Caddy and special guests.
Hedi Slimane took a trip down to the famed Burger Records not too long ago and found himself a scene ripe with sweaty skinny youth. Naturally he made some photos and found himself Organge county twins Wyatt and Fletcher from The Garden. Now they're doin a lot more than just music. Yves Saint Laurant can dig it.
Fellow CalArts alumni and Innocnts advocate Duke Choi has a great solo show up at the Prohibition Gallery in Culver City, Los Angeles if your have a chance to check it. All the work was created while he was living in South Korea and Mongolia. Duke also did an amazing mural on the outside gallery wall using his unique mapping technique and a spray can. Really impressive mural even by Los Angeles standards. The gallery is just off Washington blvd. on gallery row and the exhibition will remain up until August 24th so make it on over before it comes down. Well worth a viewing or two!
