Finally got around to updating the Innocnts Friends section. The function of this feature is to tune you onto various Innocnts advocates that you might otherwise be unaware of. These individuals articulate their creatives expression through various means including visual art, music production, photo making, living fruitfully and more. They are the romantic ones, never lost only searching.
First location to officially carry Innocnts clothing is The MOCA Store here in Los Angeles. Clothing boutiques are cool but contemporary art museums are way cooler. Next time you're visiting MOCA | The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles stop in the museum store and pick yourself up an Innocnts shirt!
The one night only Innocnts Garage Show went down last week with complete success. Good vibes and art were felt by all. DJ Alf Alpha kept the old school hip hop on point all night with De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, and Pharcyde tracks keeping the proper house party feeling intact. The fellas over at House Beer know what's up so it only seemed fitting to have them collaborate with us on this house show. All the art was sick and priced affordably so it wasn't a surprise to see quite a few pieces sold. Much appreciation to those that were able to make it out. And big thanks to Christian Garrido and Marco Zamora for taking pics!
A few weeks ago, daredevils Vadim Makharov and Ritaliy Raskalov climbed the second largest building in the world. They planned their escapade to coincide with the Chinese new year, so that fewer people would be around and security would be lax. Sneaking into the building, which is still under construction, they climbed 120 stories on foot. At they top, they slept and waited for good weather. Then they clambered out to the very end of the crane that sits on the roof, looked down at the world below, and got ridiculously high on life.
