Been painting small abstracts in the morning after waking while the mind is still fresh and untarnished by the day's events. It's nice to just move paint around and focus on composition. Painting keeps you young and one should never grow up.
We had a great evening at Innocnts Gallery last Thursday with Marco Zamora and friends. Marco's newest series of mixed media paintings were utterly on point with extreme detail beyond comprehension. There was a strong contingent of LA based art school alumni in attendance which made for some great conversation and even better vibes. Much appreciation to Pabst Blue Ribbon for supplying the booze and a huge thanks to the art patrons who purchased work. We had a great evening and appreciate everyone's involvement!
