The Macumentary

The people's pop star Mac DeMarco and Pitchfork put out this sweet little Mac documentary.

Directed by Jon Leone, Pepperoni Playboy, a 34-minute "macumentary" shot in part by DeMarco and bandmate Pierce McGarry, follows Mac as he hams it up on tour in China, shows off his Jizz Jazz Studios in Brooklyn, and takes the piss out of DIIV and Bon Iver.

Pacasso x Bardot

Brigitte Bardot visited Pablo Picasso at his studio in Vallauris outside Cannes during the film festival in 1956. Some speculate she really was trying to convince him to make her his latest muse. Allegedly, Picasso refused to paint the French beauty, although he never said why.
